Around 20 park homes on one Wilmslow park, all by recommendation

The problem

Mossways Park in Wilmslow is a retirement park for the over-50s. Park homes have lightweight walls and roofs, so they heat up quickly in strong sun and hold that heat into the evening. For older residents, a home that stays hot day and night is more than uncomfortable. It affects sleep, and it can affect health.

The exceptional summer of 2026 made that worse than ever, and park homes were among the hardest places to keep cool.

Where it started

Our first install on the park was two years ago, for a single resident. On a park where neighbours live close together, word gets around. That resident recommended us to a neighbour, that neighbour recommended us to another, and a steady trickle of work followed.

Then came summer 2026. As the heat built, residents who had seen and felt their neighbours' systems wanted the same, and we had a huge influx of requests from the park.

Around 20 homes on Mossways Park now have air conditioning we installed. Every one of those jobs came from a recommendation. We never leafleted the park or advertised there.

The systems

Most homes on the park have a Samsung 3.5 kW system, which suits the size of a typical park home. Every system is a heat pump, so as well as cooling in summer it heats the home in winter.

Some residents asked for a particular brand, so we've also fitted a Fujitsu unit and a Hitachi unit on the park. The Fujitsu install is the one in the photo: the outdoor unit stands on the paving beside the entrance steps, and the pipework runs in white trunking from the eaves down the wall and along the base of the home, so it sits neatly against the white render.

Every system was installed by Cheshire Climate Solutions Ltd, a Refcom F-Gas certified company (certificate REF1023295). Each one carries our 2-year labour warranty alongside the manufacturer's parts warranty.
